To the R:BASE Community:

As I was one of the parties to the conversation that Dale referred to it is probably best that I respond.

The conversation we had covered a broad range of subjects, was private, and was quite spirited.  It is important to note, however, that this forum is not the place to discuss the specifics of that conversation.  Although some of the issues in Dales email need to be handled and resolved, this forum is not the appropriate venue to discuss these problems.

The purpose of this forum, as we all know, is to resolve issues regarding the product nothing more.  It is not a place to vent, and is certainly not a place to discuss personal issues or cultural differences.  Our focus should be on the products and the future, not the history and baggage from the past.

On the last day of the Developers Conference Razzak established a Cabinet consisting of Sami Aaron, David Blocker, Bill Downall and myself to handle the PR side of things for RBTI.  Specifically, we are there to improve services to authorized developers, provide regional seminars, and embark upon an advertising campaign to help grow the R:BASE community.

We also serve another purpose: If anyone at any time feels the need to discuss something that is going on in the RBTI community the Cabinet offers a place to resolve those problems.  Please direct any and all of these concerns to us.  We can be a liaison between the developer community and RBTI, to bridge the gap and resolve issues.

The fact is RBG7 is the R:BASE we have always wanted.  The R:BASE suite of products fills the massive technology gap between MSAccess and MSSQLServer.  If you look at the gauges they are all looking up.

Lets focus on what is to be rather than what was in the past.  We all have much to gain with a spirit of cooperation.
