I tried Mike's .vbs script, changed it to use my directory of: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe" Called it with:  launch 'printdoc.vbs|c:\504209-1.pdf' Same thing, no error but no printing.  I'm thinking there's something I'm missing to be able to print automatically from acrobat, period! I'm going to tell the client this can't be done in 6.5++ Karen
