PACK INDEX FOR tablename is supported in 6.5++, even with both MULTI and STATICDB on.
A client who's on Windows version 6.5 asked me whether
it was in version 6.5++ when you could pack individual
indexes while the database is live. I can't find any notes that
tell me this. Anyone know?
