We have been using Oterro to connect to R:Base for a VB application for almost 10 years. We are still using Oterro 2.1. We use Citrix server to host the application. We are moving to a new set of servers. Because the new Citrix servers are set up like a Citrix farm, the DB has to be on a separate server. While I can map to the DB server from the server when I am logged in, we cannot seem to maintain that mapping when the applications are published.
Were have tried pointing to the db using its system name: \\systemname\directory\db.rb1. That does not work. Does anyone know a syntax that will work? Is it possible to do a DSN less connection using an IP or system name to point to the DB? Does the Oterro 3.0 DSN support system references as specified above? Can anyone suggest a way to get Citrix to support the mapped drive for published applications? Stephen R.
