I recently made the mistake of upgrading to MSIE 6.0 that means that I got Outlook Express 6.0 along with it. M$ in their infinite wisdom has altered Outlook Express so that the user can no longer attach files and send them. There is no warning that the files have not been sent. The email simply never gets sent even though it is marked as having been sent. If the user looks at the email a message appears at the top stating that "OE has removed access to the following unsafe files ...". Nothing about the message not being sent at all.
Does anyone know how to use OE to send files? Attaching them to a message and attempting to email the message seems not to work anymore. Is there some trick that can be used or do I have to abandon OE for file sends? All ideas appreciated.
