R:PDFWorks, originally demonstrated at the 2005 R:BASE
Developers' Conference.
R:PDFWorks is an innovative R:BASE GUI studio to manage
PDF documents.
Bundled with the R:PDFMerge and R:PDFSearch Plugins,
R:PDFWorks provides the complete graphic user interface
complimented with the command line driven Plugins for
all your PDF document management needs.
Using either the R:PDFWorks program or the R:PDFMerge
Plugin, you can perform the following tasks:
. Merge multiple PDF documents or reports into a single
document
. Extract pages from one PDF document to another PDF
document
. Delete pages from PDF document
. Rearrange the pages within a PDF document
. Insert text or image watermarks into a PDF document
. Insert pages from one PDF document to another
. Insert blank pages into a PDF document
. Find Page Count of any given PDF document
. Set merged document information properties
. Set document security and encryption options
. Set document view options
. E-Mail After Save options
. Document Compression options
Using either the R:PDFWorks program or the R:PDFSearch
Plugin, you can perform the following tasks:
. Search PDF documents based on keywords or any text
within the documents
. Include or exclude sub folders in PDF document search
. Search for whole words
. Specify case sensitivity in the text search
. Specify your own separator for your output file
(specific to the R:PDFSearch Plugin)
. Capture the list of files into a variable or output
file (specific to the R:PDFSearch Plugin)
. Allow the PDF documents returned to include the full
path (specific to the R:PDFSearch Plugin)
