To anyone who might be using R:base 6.5
Can you run a report without getting into the report designer?
It's very cumbersome for my clients to getting into the report designer and
change Where close and sorting phrase and run the report.
it would be great if I can show them how to run from R> prompt for example
by typing "Run report rpt1 where testdate = 09/01/2007' something like that
Reports are designed in he report designer and they need to run it by
changing date range.
The documentation and help is so segmented and it doesn't give me clear
picture of how to run reports from R prompt.
Any suggestion or direction as to where I should find those answers would be
appreciated.
