Instead of using the mapped drive when creating the dsn use unc for
example To set up a dsn for "O:\databases\sa\mydata.rb1" I would use
"\\ourFileServer\sys\databases\sa\mydata.rb1" without the quotes. Make
sure the logon service for R:Tango has full rights to your database.
Another thing we did was upgrade to the current version of
Oterro/WiTango/RBase. Our database resides on a Novell server.

Make sure the Oterro.cfg files are set the same and the scratch is set
to a local temp folder on each server.

Is possible to Load Balance R:Tango between two server boxes?
I need to add an extra server quick as my traffic is increasing.

Has anyone Load balanced two R:Tango boxes with a single R:Base
database?

Or Has anyone successfully Drive mapped or UNC file path mapped the
ODBC system data source from one box to the next using the Oterro
drivers.
If I try to map the ODBC data source from one server to the next I
get the Error 7 (unable to connect).
I you will be at the October conference let me know as I would like
to talk to you about this.

R:tango 2000 & Oterro 3.1 Rbase 7.1

Urgent!

Well I am sure I am missing something obvious.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
