Tip of the Day #2: Using Squiggly Brackets to Comment Your Code

Did you know that you can comment the entire block of code,
while in RBG7.x RBEdit, Turbo V-8 RBEdit or R:BASE Editor 7.5
by simply using the squiggly brackets { .... } technique?

Example:

{
Line 1 ...
Line 2 ...
Line 3 ...
Line 4 ...
Line 5 ...
Line 6 ...
Line 7 ...
}

Notice the starting and ending squiggly brackets.

Anything in between these two squiggly brackets will be treated
as comments, by R:BASE 7.x and V-8 Turbo for Windows.

This will give you a better visual look as compared to traditional
*( ....) method of commenting the big block of code.

Alternatively, you may also highlight the block, right-click,
select Block and click on Comment to comment entire block,
such as:

-- Line 1 ...
-- Line 2 ...
-- Line 3 ...
-- Line 4 ...
-- Line 5 ...
-- Line 6 ...
-- Line 7 ...

Enjoy and make sure to have fun.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
