Ok I ordered the upgrade offer but while I'm waiting to try it out,

nearly so with the upgrade? I'm now using 4.5++

Bill,

What Karen Tellef was saying is that the new Syntax of PRINTing any
Report or Label using R:BASE 7.5 for Windows.

If your are first upgrading from R:BASE 4.5++ to 7.5 for DOS, you
don't need to worry about your printing concerns.

However, later on, if you decide to convert your R:BASE 7.5 for DOS
to R:BASE 7.5 for Windows, you'll need to read all relevant documents,
including the following:

In reference to your concern of printing multiple reports to one
piece of paper and not allowing a form feed, that is restricted
to the R:BASE for DOS environment. In the Windows world, your
print jobs are immediately sent to the printer. A solution for
your requirement would be to take advantage of Sub-Reports and
more ... A few technical documents are available at the From
The Edge: link above.

Once you receive your package and register your product on line,
you'll also have access to the *active" RBG7-L list of R:BASE
Users and Developers where everyone will be happy to help and
share their similar experiences.

Make sure to go through all sample applications (at least 10
included with the product), to actually grasp the new techniques
of developing and deploying R:BASE for Windows applications.

Once you get the hang of R:BASE 7.5 for Windows, you'll be amazed
how powerful the "All-in-One" development environment has evolved.

Enjoy and make sure to have fun!
