Tip of the Day: Using Double-Click to Bring Up Designer

Supported Versions:

. R:BASE 7.6 for Windows (Build: 7.6.1.30420 or higher)
. R:BASE C/S:I 7.6 for Windows (Build: 7.6.1.30420 or higher)
. R:BASE Turbo V-8 for Windows (Build: 8.0.15.30420 or higher)

Did you know that you can double-click on any Table, View,
Stored Procedure, Report, Label, Form, External Form File,
Application, or Command File to bring up the appropriate
item in corresponding designer?

After CONNecting the database, using the Database Explorer,
traditionally, you would first highlight the appropriate Table,
View, Stored Procedure, Report, Label, Form, External Form File,
Application, or Command File and then use the speed menu or
click on "Design" option to open the selected item in designer.

By default, double-click is used to "Open" or "Run" selected
item. However, if you wish to simply double-click on the
item to open clicked item in designer, all you need to do
is customize the Database Explorer settings.

Here' how:

01. Database Explorer | Main Menu | Settings ...

02. Click on "Double Click Open Designer" option to Select

These custom settings are specific to the logged in user only.

Using these custom settings, you can run R:BASE Your Way!

Have fun!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
