Tip of the Day: Using SET FEEDBACK Command in R:BASE for Windows

Supported Versions:

. R:BASE 7.6 for Windows (Build: 7.6.1.30420 or higher)
. R:BASE C/S:I 7.6 for Windows (Build: 7.6.1.30420 or higher)
. R:BASE Turbo V-8 for Windows (Build: 8.0.15.30420 or higher)

Syntax: SET FEEDBACK ON/OFF

Default: OFF

With this setting ON, R:BASE for Windows displays the number of
rows processed and the elapsed time to completion in the new pause
look-alike form at the center of the screen.

This setting displays processing results when either calculating,
sorting, inserting or editing more than 100 rows.

Supported commands:

01. ALTER TABLE
02. COMPUTE
03. CREATE INDEX
04. CROSSTAB
05. DELETE
06. INSERT
07. The data transfer for the JOIN of two tables
08. LOAD
09. The data transfer for a PROJECT command
10. SELECT
11. SORTing a huge record set
12. the data transfer for a SUBTRACT of two tables
13. TALLY
14. The R:BASE UNION command
