It's only weeks until the 10th annual RBTI R:BASE Developers'
Conference<http://www.rbase.com/conference>,
October 26-29, 2007, in Monroeville, PA.
This year, we need you to take part in the new fall hit R:eality Show, "So
You Think You Can Program?"
Do you have a topic that you can present? It can be as simple as a 5 minute
demonstration of your cool form and uses of the PROPERTY command. Or
something much more complicated, up to a half hour presentation.
As in other years, here are the criteria:
1) It should show other developers how to do one or more of these things:
a) get work done faster
b) get work done better
c) please a customer
d) gain a customer
e) do the impossible
f) do the possible better/faster/cheaper
2) Demonstrations should run in and work in R:BASE 7.5 and later, or the
current version(s) of other R:BASE products (like Oterro 3.5)
3) Attenders of the conference should be able to take your sample files
and/or your notes or handouts, and be able to immediately impress the studio
audience, back at their own place of work.
4) Winning this competition will in no way force an exemption from your
amateur standing, because you won't be paid for it. (That's how RBTI keeps
the conference cost So Low.)
Please describe you proposed presentation to the masters and mistresses of
ceremonies in a private email to:
