It is my pleasure to announce R:Archive 8.0, R:BASE Document
Archival Management System.

R:Archive is the best and most economical R:BASE Document
Archival Management System for managing your documents,
using the power and features of R:BASE Turbo V-8 for Windows.

Using your scanner, R:Archive allows you to automatically,
or manually, scan documents into many different image
formats as well as PDF documents. After a document is
manually scanned, the R:Archive Plugin allows you to edit
and enhance the scanned image, as well as convert the file
into different image color formats.

The available image output formats include:

. PDF
· BMP
· EMF
· WMF
· PNG
· JPEG
· TGA
· PCX
· TIFF

The R:Archive application search capabilities allow you to
search all scanned images through R:Archive. The search
criteria allow you to define the date, operator or title.
R:Archive also allows you to search and index PDF documents
available from your computer. Once the documents are
indexed, you can easily review the PDF document information
and preview the actual file.

A report catalog is available for all documents scanned, PDF
files documents indexed, and document management sessions.

R:Archive includes database maintenance to keep your system
running smoothly. A table analysis can be performed on each
table, and if required, you can pack the table. Additional
maintenance includes packing the indexes and a database
backup routine. You can even review the User Access and
Session Log Tables.
