Windows XP  -  Create this one line  batch file in the windows directory
 
DIR > PRN
 
save as PrintDir.bat
 
Open up Windows Explorer
Click on Tools----> Folder Options ---> File Types
Click on Folder
Click Advanced
Click New
Action:   Print Directory List
Application used to perform Action:  PrintDir.bat
Click O.K.
 
Now when you right click on a folder in Windows Explorer , Print Diirectory 
List will be an option.

How does one print a directory list of a file folder under WindowsXP?

I did a couple times under an earlier version of Windows, but can't seem to
do it in XP.

Being able to print directory lists of a bunch of CD-ROMs of pictures would
make finding pictures a heck of a lot easier.
