You are talking about settings related to the built-in RBEdit in 7.6
and not the stand-alone R:BASE Editor 7.6.  Correct?

Follow Emmitt Dove's suggestion.  If that doesn't help, let me know
and I'll send you the "RBG76 Default Settings" utility to take care
of such circumstances.
