I remember Razzak saying long ago that there's just some clients you don't really need, and unfortunately in my case one has resurrected themselves from the dead. When I last worked on something for them about 4 years ago, their SERVER was a 386 machine, if I remember right, and some of their workstations still had 5 1/4" floppy drives. They are running RBase 4.5 (well, at least it isn't 3.0). A very sad family squabble put their small business on hold, and now they're back and it doesn't look like they're in a position to spend much money.
At this point I'm just trying to give them some help because they are very wonderful people. He mentioned 3 verticle market apps that they are considering leasing (I sure hope they've updated their hardware....) and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them. He is hoping that we can send data from RBase to the programs. This company is a retail store selling appliances and servicing them. The programs they are looking at are: LogiServ, WhirlWind, and SwiftLink. If anyone has heard of them, let me know! Thanks! Karen
