I've done at least three clients like that and it was pretty seamless. I don't remember any real issues or problems at all. The contractor had them purchase 7.5 a long time ago but never installed it. It's a huge application and I think he (and the client) are terrified that something that worked in 7.1 won't work in 7.5. The client doesn't want to pay us to test everything -- that would cost them a fortune. But darn it, I'm tired of 7.1! Remember the days before "on before design" eeps, much less all the new stuff ??? Anyway, is there anyone here who had a 7.1 app, switched to 7.5, and can tell me that they had no problems? I would probably need to quote someone by name and say "so-and-so said they did the upgrade and they had no problems." (Knowing, of course, that that doesn't mean that WE wouldn't have problems..)
