Matthew,

In forms I usually place in the OnBeforeStartEep
SET NULL ' '
RETURN
and in the OnCloseEeep
SET NULL -0-
RETURN
which allows the fields in the form to be "empty"

In reports you can select any Edit or Variable and
in the properties you can select
Blank when zero

Those 2 things help the presentation to be better.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - How do I make NULL truly NULL?

I imagine there’s a simple way to do this but I can’t
manage to figure out how.

I try to use R> SET NULL ‘’ and it does
nothing, NULL keeps whatever value it previously had stored, in my case that
is
-0- which I believe is the default. I want NULL to be void of any and all
data, both visually and logically, not represented by some text I define.
