With SET AUTOSYNC ON in the .DAT file, shouldn't files automatically
synchronize (if necessary)?
Aren't mine in need of synchronization?

Claudine,
I bet, that is the display of directory files while you were still
connected. Correct?
Yes, I can tell from looking at the format <g>. The database was
first connected at 7:07am. More rows were added and the data and
index files were updated at 4:51pm. The data structure file was
updated at 4:53pm.
If you properly close and exit, the final date and time stamps
will match.
Is that database on a local machine or on a shared network drive?
If on a shared network drive, are other users still connected?
How was the display in 7.6?
What date and time is displayed when DISCONNECTed and no one else
is using the same database?
That should give you some blue's clues!
