Dan,
Create two icons pointing to your R:BASE
executable. Each will use a command-line argument like this:
C:\RBTI\RBG76\RBG76.EXE startup1.dat
where startup1.dat contains the code to
change to the appropriate folder, connect the
database and start your application. You can
name this file whatever you wish, and the other
application would of course have a different filename for the startup.
Examples of such dat files can be found in the
samples folder that gets installed with
R:BASE. See, for instance, c:\rbti\rbg76\samples\rrbwy14\rrbyw14.dat.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Specifying a startup file
Hi,
Searched through my email database, and the
help files and I can't seem to find what I thought was there.
I wish to have two Rbase Icons on the screen,
each opening a different application.
