Good thought, but let me tell ya why this won't work for me.  The client 
still needs to be able to just check 1 or 2 items; they won't always want to do 
the "select all".   In order to do that, I'm assuming you suggest that I do a 
scrolling region, with a checkbox for the Y/N field.  Unfortunately I don't 
like 
doing this because you have to do 2 mouse clicks in order to change the 
checkbox.  The first mouse click highlights the row and gives you focus; the 
second 
mouse click changes the check box.  My clients don't like that.    I want the 
ability to do a one-click select, plus the ability to select all.   Basically 
like a regular old ChkBox choose list, but as a nicer form control rather 
than a popup menu...
