Hi Bernie,
I will check that. I seem to be having the issue under some circumstances, but not others. What is the expected effect of an On Entry EEP when you jump from a field in a row to the same field in a different row? What would be the expected value obtained by the GETPROPERTY command, the value of the field I am jumping from or the value I am jumping to?

Hi Mike,
Just a thought, see if you get the result you want by mousing up or down a row instead of [F7].

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Is there such a thing as an "After Entry EEP"?

Hi All,
Assume I have a form with at least 2 rows of data. I am in a field on one of the rows and I hit [F7] to go up a row, or [F8] to go down a row. I would like to work with the data that is in the field I am entering, not the data in the field I just left. From what I can tell, the GETPROPERTY command will retrieve the value of the field I just left, not the field I am entering. Is there a way to get the value of the field I am about to enter, (or have already entered)? If I had to call this something, I would call it an "After Entry EEP". Is there such a thing?
Mike
