I posted this once but don't remember getting any responses. Since the list is slow, I'm wondering if anyone has ever used this function:
I was playing around with the "drill down" property in subreports. My report's main table is Clients, the subreport is based on Hours, with a ClientID link. The subreport is a "child". The report prints fine, with all the hours showing under each client. I selected the "drill down" property of the subreport, and selected ClientID as the "drill down component". Documentation says that in report preview mode you should be able to click on that field and the report will expand with the subreport. When I preview to the screen, the report shows with none of the subreports expanded. The mouse cursor changes to a hand when I hover over the ClientID, but I click til the cows come home on the ClientID field and it never expands to show the detail. As I click, I can see a brief message in the report task bar about printing a drill-down but I don't see anything. What am I doing wrong? Karen
