Patti, When I last did an extensive conversion from a DOS version, I unloaded the db structure then edited the ascii file, including some things for form descriptions.
I can't afford you any step by step guidance on this, but if I were faced with a bunch of stuff like you are facing, I would create a test db with a form having the same issues as you are experiencing and another form, identical, except for the attributes, and examine the ascii output. You could see if you can successfully edit the ascii file and then attempt it on a wholesale scale on the ascii file of your project db. You risk little and can gain mucho time savings. ----- Original Message ----- From: "patti jakusz" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "RBASE-L Mailing List" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 04, 2008 12:38 PM Subject: [RBASE-L] - anything comparable to recording & playing back a script In Rbase for dos, you could record keystrokes in a script, assign a function key to the script and then play it back for doing repetitive tasks like, changing the attributes of a losta fields. Is there anything like this in Rbase for Windows? Hopeful, Patti _________________________________________________________________ Instantly invite friends from Facebook and other social networks to join you on Windows LiveĀ Messenger. https://www.invite2messenger.net/im/?source=TXT_EML_WLH_InviteFriends
