Try this instead: EDIT * FROM &varname Note the ampersand variable vs. the dotted variable. But when I try to EDIT * FROM .varname I get -ERROR- Syntax is incorrect for the command EDIT (2045) If I do LIST .varname, that works and validates the variable.
