Ok,
  My findings so far.

A. If I set the variables to clear on page break, the math works out 
right.  However the footer shows up blank.

B. If I set the variables to NOT clear on page break, the footer has 
the correct numbers but the accumulater variable gets added two twice.

Neither is a good answer for me.  Are there any other ideas to fix this?
