Bill I was having the same problem. This is what I did:
Print the report to PDF. I then used an external program that converted PDF file to Word. This external program can be used from command prompt line to convert file by name or the entire folder. The program is "Convert Doc" you can download a trial version and test it from http://www.softinterface.com/Convert-Doc/Convert-Doc.htm Buddy -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bill Eyring Sent: Monday, June 23, 2008 11:41 AM To: RBASE-L Mailing List Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: Print Report Option Question for Word Documents Dennis, Yes I tried EMF but it opens with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and Edits with Windows Paint. If I copy and paste from Paint then it cannot be edited with Word. I am trying to get it into Word with Insert File and then edit it if needed, so far no luck. I can open an rtf file and paste it into a Word doc where I can do limited editing. This report contains a photo. When I use the option RTF and insert it into a Word Doc, all the formatting is lost. If I just open the RTF file in Word, everything appears normal with the exception that the photo loses size and proportion. I need to take this report and insert it directly into Word without having to do any editing. Does anyone have suggestions so I can accomplish this ? Do I have to change any setup option in Word to accomplish this ? I am using the latest release of Turbo8. (8.0.18.30628). Thanks, Bill Eyring
