That is exactly how I do it. Javier, Best regards, Javier Valencia, PE Sr. Project Manager Universal Asset Management, L.L.C. 801 Westchester Avenue Harrisonville, MO 64701 Office (816) 887-1960 Fax (816) 884-3206 Cell (913) 915-3137 This one's probably easy - in fact, had the afternoon caffeine taken effect yet, I'd probably have figured it out. Of course, sometimes when we ask these Q's, Razzak, Et Al. ultimately reward our weak (well, I'll speak f/myself), needy minds with some valuable info or software goody. So, I have a report upon which I have decided that, should a certain value exist in one field-control, I want to dynamically create another control adjacent to it. I figure that I can locate the field-control, set its default properties to make it "invisible" then, on the relatively rare occasions when the determining value NOT LIKE '%001', change those properties to display the previously hidden field. Then, I can reset those properties back to their invisible defaults. Or, is there a way to actually perform dynamic creation of report controls, as there is for those in forms? If so, what would be the tradeoffs? Thanks, Steve in Memphis J.
