Attached is a form that can be dropped into any database (7.6 or V8) that
will emulate the R>.  You can customize it to include a history or you can
use it as-is.

I have a form in the databases that I distribute that I use for maintenance.
I use the compiler for my applications but it would work the same way with
Runtime.  The form has a collection of commands that I use frequently.  It
also has a command line that works like the R>.  You can type a command such
as EDIT ALL FROM INVOICE and it will perform the command.  The R> is a
simple custom EEP property.  If you want more detail or would like to see a
demo, please contact me offline.  It is simple to do.
