Razzak, I'm sure it's possible, but what would be the recommended approach to real-time image acquisition, still or video, via a form?
For example, as the result of some input, such as a key||mouse press or an elapsed time, an image is captured, displayed in a control on a form, and/or saved to a table/file (with location-string saved in table). Or perhaps at such an input, and in a similar fashion, a video stream is captured until a subsequent "STOP" input is received. Specifically, what I'd like to be able to do at some point - after I get v0.N of my LED timer display working - is to add a (momentary/tactile) button that interfaces to the clock and to an RBase app'. Each button press would be a triggering event, to get the finish or elapsed time, the finish position of THIS_FINISHER, from 1:N, and, why I ask this Q, grab the content from the video source, this functionality obviously serving as a photo-finish. If it turns out that I should learn what I must to write/compule_to a DLL with the necessary functions, that's okay, it'll just be a while until I can get to it. Is all this too much "blue-sky" thinking (daydreaming?) or dare I, what is it, " Imagine the possibilities!"
