Kristie, Try creating a temporary table (or view), including a column containing the values on which you wish to break, and base your report on that. You'll be much happier!

BUT, I still can not get my report to sort by a variable. I set it as a break and it is a description "AS 20 Gauge 3 x 4" and so forth. The report is still printing the information based upon data entry order. I have NO sort or order or anything command line - just plain ol' print. What am I doing wrong....? Thanks!
