Re: Issue with reports using Note data type fields...

Given: A table has been defined with a note field and data loaded into
several records.

Creating a report and placing the Note defined field into the
Detail area of the report.

Issue: The height of Detail area must be set to the largest amount of
Note field Data in a record to show all data on a report; otherwise data
will truncate. The Note field has "AutoSize" checked.

I am trying to print reports with multiple records on it. Some data
will be only 1 linewidth in length while others will be a page in
length. By fixing the height of the Detail area of the report to the
largest data record, a lot of wasted space is generated on the print-out
of the report.

Is there any way to set parameters to accomplish this task?

Example of Existing Print-out

Name: Record One

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            "Wasted Space Here"

Name: Record Two

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Name: Record Three

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

              "Wasted Space Here"

Name: Record Four

Preferred Print-out

Name: Record One

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Name: Record Two

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

            XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

...

Any help would be appreciated on this matter! Thankyou...
