I believe R:Base is the solution for patients! Have you ever tried to
network an Access Program! Or deal with some store bought piece of ...
and find it was written in ..... I have become very patient. Oh I love
this one; This program is multi-user and is written for business /
Accounting then in fine print 50,000k file limit! What business?
Lemonade Stand? The program itself load and as I recall took half that
file size away! I still have the documentation on that program.

Ooops wrong spelling! Of patients "What was I thinking! "

Sincerely,

Paul Dewey

I wrote a medical billing program that met BC/BS of Mi and Medicare
NSF-1,2,3 Billed Mediaid. And the money return on the HCPS codes went
down hill! Oh I loved this one also, "Upon medical review it has been
detrimened that these supplies are not required" The kicker the patient
passed away, BECAUSE of the ICDM-9 code (decubitus ulcers)! "Not required
- well I guess not now, to late! I got so frustrated I closed the
company. It made me sick.

Ps.

Oh - it was all written in DOS the good ole days. So yes! 7.6
should fly. Back in the DOS days there was a limit on text string lengh.
And NSF required a field out in the 500+ position, that was fun! (as I
recall, it was 12 years ago!) I figured I would add in the history so, I
was not beat up on the above statement. Yes I have knownledge, very old.
I could not help, but tell you "Yes! RBase can and will perform. It did
back then and it is even better now. I also agree with Lawrence Lustig, "I
know there are a number of medical professionals and hospital administrators
on this list."
