Hi Mike, Thanks for the suggestions.  I have a "splash screen" that has straight lines that sawtooth on any setting but "center".  So I basically need an image that is the right size for the screen at several different screen resolutions.  I am now using a varbit variable in a variable image box, where the image is taken from a table.  Works great! Set a varbit variable to an image (I would use a low res jpg because wallpaper and images are memory hungry, blah, blah.
