Yes, I thought about it but that is kind of new ground for
me, so I stick to what I know.
Most of my code is in Custom form actions and EEPS. I
only use the APX for code that is used in several forms or
new code I may change often and code I want to keep private.
One step at a time I am moving in that direction.

Have you considered doing away with your external *.APX files? I have not
used *.apx files for a while; all the code I use is stored either in the
forms or in a table from where I can execute the code. I now have less
clutter as there are fewer files to install at the clients computers.
You can technically store even your plug-ins in the database and download
the files when you start the application and delete them when done.

Don't forget the FILEFIND function. Here is piece of code from one of my
applications. Use it as you will.

I was thinking about CVAL currDir or something, then
do the Property command on the 3rd tab to reset it back to
the
correct dir.
