Out of old habits and due to reload restrictions I prefer the standard
R:Base for NULL as -0- and don't want to mess with it. (even if I do
sometimes)
However in forms I would like them to displayed as "nothing" and the same
for repports and I believe this might be an ISSUE for SSQL (depending the
foreign DB)
Is there any more than me that I should submit an enhancement request to
support for example:
PROPERTY RBASE_FORMS DISPLAY_NULL VALUE {choice of NOTHING or Null VALUE}
And
PROPERTY RBASE_REPORTS DISPLAY_NULL VALUE {choice of NOTHING or Null VALUE}
As for the difference I SSQL I cant really figure out how to put it. The
best I can do is suggest:
PROPERTY 'sconnected DB' treat null VALUE {choice of NOTHING or Null VALUE}
I might add that I have not figured out what ACCESS db have as a preferred
NULL Value therefore I do a lot of "not realy programming" when I update my
foreign DB by test off before I issue the SSQL UPDATE
I have found workaround of all this, but I consider my workaround as to
cumbersome.
If I get support I will put in an enhancement request
If I have missed something I glady take the help to point me in right
direction
Best regards
