I have always driven to Pittsburgh for the October conference. Hoping for good weather, top down in the Mustang, beautiful fall colors once I hit PA ....
This year I was thinking that I needed to calculate the difference (if any) between driving and flying! But then good old Tom mentioned that he might take Amtrak there, which he has done before, so I investigated it too. It would cost about $130 round trip from Chicago. For sure that's alot cheaper than gas in the car! And he says the Amtrak station is within 1/2 mile of the hotel. Haven't made my reservations yet but I'm thinking about it. It's worth checking into if you're not sure how you will get there this year... Karen
