You can also disconnect them on a Windows Server thru the MMC and either close open files or open sessions. If you have the correct rights you can also go into their machines thru remote desktop and shut them down or you can even issue a shutdown command from a CMD window to shut down a remote machine. Shutdown -m \\computername Just type shutdown at a cmd prompt for the syntax. Mark Lindner Lindner & Associates PC 254 Second Ave Needham MA 02494 781 247 1100 Fax 781 247 1143

Mike Sinclair -------------- Original message from "jan johansen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: -------------- Jim, The only way I know to kick other users out remotely is RBAdmin. If there is another way I would like to know. Often when I try the pack, other users have either failed to log off and are still in RBASE or have failed to get out of RBASE when logging off. What is the best way to get around this problem. Most of the time I am not on site when doing the pack (or other maintenance). Jim
