Hans I have had that message in the past. I never understood it! But it is certainty not lack of disk space. My own workaround is: I never touch a non r:base sconnected table directly. I allways project a temp table from the attached table. I do always use the that temp table for my views forms report, then I use SSQL UPDATE SSQL INSERT SSQL DELETE To transfer my updates to the origin DB in the foreign DB. This is not maybe an answer to your question but it might bee a workaround
