When I attach a MS SQL table I get a bunch of error messages such as:
"<WARNING> Cannot attach a TEXT column to existing column State of type TEXT
(2946)"

I click on 'OK' and I have to define an alias, which I do.

Do I need to be aware of anything, besides that I have the some fields named
differently now because of the aliasing while working on this table?

Is there an accepted standard for naming aliases? I'm currently using the
original name appended with an underscore and the table name where they
originated.

Thanks,
