Thanks - so if the program is actually located on the file server - a
back up is my c:\ and I see the file with 9/19/08 update - do I just
copy the files over to the server that have the same date??

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Updates??

1. You saved the updates to a file. It is in that file for you to
click on the ".exe" and the default install location is "C:\RBTI\
"Software Name"" In your case "C:\RBTI\RBG76\......"

2. You would want the "Typical" unless you have more than one
computer and a lot more. Most people are "Typical" 99.99% of the time.

3. Start using the program ;)) But really if you used the
default location most of everything is done for you. If you used a
different location you could end up with dll's or other items out of
date but still in your system and that can cause a short problem. Easy
to fix.

Okay, I just downloaded the updates for 7.6 for Windows....

1. Where did the updates get installed?

2. What is the difference between typical and server?

3. Do I have to do anything else once I figure out where the updates
went?

Thanks!
