Thanks Buddy, this is what I wound up doing (although I used a box control to force the region to stay the size I wanted it). Instead of two regions separated by white space I really had five such regions with four gaps. So it took a bunch of regions to get done what I wanted. But the result looks FABULOUS. -- Larry
