There are a few major pending items related to new data types and their full implementation. Once those items are handled, we'll have very good news for you. FWIW, your existing R:BASE Turbo V-8 database(s) will only have to go through a single-step "TURBO dbname V9" command to convert the entire database. This required step will add all additional system columns in SYS_FORMS3, SYS_LABELS3, and SYS_REPORTS3 to keep track of all forms, labels and report revisions. Your existing working Turbo V-8 applications will be fully compatible - no changes required. You may need to revisit all your forms, labels and reports, only if you wish to take advantage of enhanced and new features, options and properties.
