I am just starting back up with R:Base after a 15 year absence. Upgraded to v.8 for MS SQL database access.
I have admin rights to the MS SQL database. Can use MS Query to connect. I also appear to be able to connect with R:Base V8 because I appear to be able to connect a data source, need to use the proper user/pswd or an error message will happen. But after that, I don't know how to access the MS tables in V8. Besides 'connect SQL data source' there are no other options able to select (i.e. attach SQL database tables'). For whatever reason, I cannot find instructions in the help file to do this. Could someone please share where I can find the documentation on how to go about connecting and using a MS SQL 2005 database with v.8?
