Foreign keys can be set in the database to not include indexes unless specfically required. Check out the fast key option.

The help diagram shows index as an option, but I’ve never seen it used and honestly don’t know how it will differ from the key, but the key is an index and will not let you insert a record with a value that doesn’t exist in the referenced table which, after all, is the point of primary/foreign keys.
