[RBASE-L] - 6.5++ and 7.6 question

Can you call a pdf or excel spread sheet a file directory from RBase.
 
Let say I want a insurance certificate to pop up from a click box in
6.5++ to pop up based on a vendorn so that a staff member can review it.
 
Can this be done??
