Alastair,
The discussion earlier was to determine whether or not someone was 50, and I was able to solve that using < and > in conjunction with the ADDYR function. However that does not give me someone's age by submitting a DOB, unless I check if ADDYR while adding every possible age between 1 and 120 is greater or less than today's date. There has to be a better way, but I just don't know R:Base well enough yet to know what that is. _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alastair Burr Sent: Wednesday, November 19, 2008 10:53 AM To: RBASE-L Mailing List Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: Something similar to DateDiff There was some discussion on this subject earlier in the month, around the 7th, with a variety of options offered. If you don't have the posts saved and nobody else re-posts I can forward them to you. This is proving to be a significant challenge. Has someone done this? R:Base 6.5++ wwwww ( @ @ ) -------oOO---(_)---OOo------- Damon J.
