The purpose for the lookup in one field is to bring information in that the employees missed, That is where the lookup comes in. I also edit existing information that needs serial numbers etc. The variable I now use is PROCDESC = PROCDESC in PARTPROC where PROCNUM = PROCNUM. How would I write the EEP before the form launched so I could use the lookup when necessary? Jim
