OK, thanks guys. No seconds in my format. This will do the trick. I forgot
about Rtime, even looked a long time at the function list.....

(RTIME(INT(SGET(value,2,1)),INT(SGET(value,2,4)),0)) where 'value' is your
text variable or column that does not represent seconds.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Convert text to time

List,
Having a brain freeze. Is there a way to convert text data values to time
in a table. For example, I have two fields, one is time one is text data
type. I need to do some math on this, and cannot remember if you can change
the data type from text to time. The data is in time format 00:00 in both
columns.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Bob C
